7 Days Machame Route
Overview
The Machame Route, famously known as the “Whiskey Route,” is one of the most popular and scenic routes to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. This 7-day itinerary allows climbers to experience diverse landscapes — from lush rainforest to alpine desert and finally to the snowy summit of Uhuru Peak (5,895m).
The route’s longer acclimatization profile and “climb high, sleep low” approach make it one of the most successful and enjoyable ways to conquer Africa’s highest mountain.
